My name is Catie. I’m a graphic design major at the University of Maryland, College Park. Seeing a lack of resources for students dealing with mental health on this campus, I wanted to create a space for people to share their stories. I’ve also created pins to create conversations about mental health. Through open conversations, we can break down the stigma of mental health.

The “guide” pin will be worn by those who have experience and knowledge of how to help those dealing with a mental health crisis. They are willing to be approached by students needing help and assist them in finding it. They could be residence assistants, staff, professors, etc.

The “solidarity” pin is worn by students who are willing to have conversations about mental health. They are willing to talk about their experiences and hear other’s experiences.

Feel free to share your stories here without judgment.
